| CJ, short from Cathy Jo, was born in 1970 and came to Mindy's in 2003. She had led a horrible life as a pet monkey for at least thirty three years. Wearing a collar tight around her waist there is a permanent indentation and the hair will never grow back. CJ had four rotten teeth extracted shortly after her arrival. The two wonderful people who rescued her, paid their veterinarian to remove a tumor on her chest, a lesion under her eye, but unfortunately he neglected to check the monkeys mouth. The photo was taken upon CJ'S recovery. CJ has to be pampered due to her generic age , but she is a wild old monk who tries to bite every chance she gets. The gumming and slobbering has no affect on the caretakers when cleaning her environment--she is allowed to try and punish the human race for all she has suffered at their hands.CJ will get the very best for the remainder of her days. She appears in excellent health now that all her life threatening ailments have been seen to and corrected. |
