| Sunshine, a Barbary macaque, was originally bought in Morroco and confiscated in Canada without proper permits in July 2001. She was only six months old. The owner was going to have her euthanized rather than face charges but luckily for Sunshine, the vet stepped in and contacted the Fauna Foundation. With the help of many caring people, Sunshine arrived at Mindy's in September 2001. Sunshine is a very happy, rowdy monkey that loves Calvin, a young pig tail macaque. | |||||||||||||||||
