As you probably read in our last newsletter, we have been successful in obtaining the release of three rhesus macaques from research at University of California , San Francisco .
Eddie and Wyatt and Tiger are all doing very well and enjoying their new life here at Mindy's. Eddie and Wyatt are housed with two females, Katy and Ginger, and are having a great time with the girls. Tiger is sharing his habitat with Donald, another research monkey from Cal-Tech Pasadena.

Tiger.....a rhesus macaque from UCSF at Mindy's Memory
Getting animals released from research is very hard and saying no is even harder. The veterinarian from UCSF that helped us get Eddie and Wyatt, has asked us to take Yogi. Yogi is a male rhesus, he will be six years old this month, and once shared a cage with Wyatt. They removed his head apparatus in February and when his hair grows back, they will send him to Mindy's. This will probably take place in April. We need your help to make this happen. Yogi will need a new habitat built with a warm-up house and all that goes with it. We are hoping to socialize him with Eddie, Wyatt, Katy and Ginger but until then he will need his own space.
Please help Yogi, join his friends at Mindy's and live out his life with fresh air and sunshine and not in the stainless steel cage that holds him now.
Thank you so much for caring about all the monkeys who are lucky enough to have a second chance at life with us. We could not do it without your help.
